Photo Giclee Enhancement Process
Photographing photos of garden flowers has always been a hobby and when done looking and showing them to friends and family the photos went back into the album. “Why not” I thought, just start utilizing them for my art projects.
Final Rendering of “Fairview Poppies”.
The “Enhancement” has been an enjoyable experience. What a wonderful way to bring those photo’s back to life. Below are a few other examples.
The actual print was coated with a UV protection. I then used a sealant for protection. After drying properly oil paint medium was used to enhance the image. After drying it was sealed with a protective coating. I believe the procedure so far has been a success. Other enhancements I’ve used acrylics. I also label this as an original. It was photographed by me in my flower garden. I selected a section of the image and had it transferred to canvas where I enhanced the image with additional color and additional art style. Prints of “Fairview Poppies” are available. The two car images below were also done in the same process but painted with acrylics.
If you have a photo you’d like to have embellished with this procedure contact us through our contact page. If your choice is Acrylics, no problem. I can paint in either medium. If you want a painting of your photograph without this type of procedure, no problem. I have over 40 years of experience using photographs for reference.
